In the story Steal It Your Way, a thief finds himself unexpectedly confronted by a wolf-like creature that he calls a troll robber. This happens after he failed to shelter from a heavy rain. When the thief encountered a wolf that seemed reluctant to interact with him, he howled. The encounter apparently inflicted pain on the thief, but it also gave him an unusual ability. From that day forward, his arm has elongated indefinitely and can transform into a rubbery appendage. Look for any possible witnesses, and be wary of people who might glance your way as you move stealthily.
