Octogeddon is a new puzzle game . Play as a wild octopus and fight the forces of humanity. After the seemingly simple tower defense game, Plants vs Zombies, became a hit and an acquisition by EA, the original creator, George Fan, left the company he had created due to differing opinions about the versions at come.

Octogeddon is the first game designed by Fan as part of its new independent studio and offers a return to a simple game style with a hidden layer of strategy and planning. The game features a monster octopus that goes wild against the forces of humanity. Each level revolves around the player surviving waves of enemies by rotating the octopus with a simple left / right control scheme. Each defeated enemy provides a coin which can then be used to upgrade the octopus with new animal arms for additional abilities. Octogeddon manages to retain the silly spirit of Plants v Zombies but ultimately does not have mass or lasting appeal due to less immediate decision-making.
Octogeddon is a fun independent action game with huge boots to complete. Comparisons to the first Fan game are good, but overall, they don't reach those heights.
