As Michael, the protagonist in this story, you must rescue survivors and clean areas of the dead to stop the virus from spreading further around the world. In the story, undead soldiers suddenly attack the human world and consider human lives to be sustenance. Their ruined military buildings stand near the ground near where their zombies lay.
